university

What is university? From Oxford dictionary it is defined as a high-level education institution in which students study fir degrees and academic research is done.

From the definition above, I am partially agree with. In nowadays, university has been commercialise. More and more universities and colleges has been built up recently. Thus, this has resulted students have more opportunity to proceed to further study. It was a good thing that there are so many colleges and universities. Yet, thing has turned to the other side when the university has  become commercialise. A business. The educator just tend to make money than provide quality education.

Basically, the universities in Malaysia do not provide quality education, they provide grade. What do we get from a university? Knowledge? Bullshit. We only get grade from the university. What can we get from the grade? The answer is job. A better paid job. In the end, it still about money.

Who cause this to happen? It is society.The idiots corporations. They wants A’s students. Because A’s students represent they are smart. It was right. But that was 10 years ago. Because of today’s society is so realistic, people need a degree to get a job. Because there is a demand, there must be someone who will stand out to supply and make money.

This is the factors that the numbers of university in Malaysia growth rapidly. That also lead to lousy education. As long you get a degree, you can work. You do not have to understand all these because you just need a degree. Therefore in today’s university, we only “study” and not learning new things.

Why? Because the numbers of students is too big. Few hundreds of students in a class. How to study? No need study. They have made it simple for you to understand. Worse come to worse you just memorise it and you will pass your exam. That the today university standard.

The assignment.exam are not to be discussed. What we know is just a grade. Next will be same as Master… That the future of our education…

Wake up early in the morning of 2 am just to do my revision on my AME paper. After 5pm, I will be relax. This is the first time in my life that I stress for exam. I don’t think I am like like when I was taking my SPM, STPM or even my university test. Thanks to my friends who have been disturbed by my when I was stress. Haha…

Just had a friend talk not long ago. He told me that he fell in love with a girl. But the problem she already has a boyfriend. For me this is quite a serious problem. And also the situation I scare the most if happened on me. Fall in love in someone who already has boyfriend is one of the worst condition. Because the chance for you to get her, we can say is 1%. Why 1%? The 1% is actually come from she break up with the boyfriend. But after breakup your chance to get her is not high as well. Therefore more accurate is 0.5% chance for you to get her.

The second worse condition is where the girl already has someone she likes. This condition you still have 10% of chance to tackle her. The chance is come from the guy she likes might has girlfriend or she just admire him and they don’t know each other. In this condition, it will depend how you do to grab her heart. Your effort must be triple or more than other people. And you must have the desire to take failure which will occur not more than 1.

Today is the first day of Chinese New Year. I woke up a bit early today. Woke up at 7 am. Then just lie on the bed to wait the time pass.

Yesterday was a special day as well. Everytime only on this period of time my phone will ring for more than 10 times. I will receive the new year bless from my friends and also some contact who I don’t know the number. Weird right? Haha.

But, today I had an uncomfortable lunch. Today lunch was provided by company. The lunch was Nasi Briyani. I went out with my supervisors to buy the lunch. So when I got there, I requested my fried chicken changed to curry chicken. I was felt lucky for being out with them so I could pick what I like. But things did not turn out as I wished when one of my colleague asked me could she has the curry chicken same as mine. I felt sorry for her that I was being selfish. This had bothered me for the whole day. I really hoped I could make choice again. Than I would follow the majority. But at least I have learned something today. Tomorrow will have another free lunch and I shall not repeat the same mistake again. Hope I will be forgiven by the colleague.

31st January 2011                       Rainy day

Today is a rainy day. The rain started before I went to work. It rained till evening around 4 pm. The new year is coming, it is not suppose to be a raining season. It would be hot and windy. As Chinese New Year is known as ” Chun Jie” which is the end of winter and the beginning of spring season. And also known as the beginning of the year. But the weather has changed. No New Year wind blowing around but just rain. Is it because of the year of tiger or it is because year of rabbit? Or it is because the climate change? In scientific the only we could explain the changes is the climate change. If it is because the climate change, do we (human) realize it? I do not think so. The prophecy of end of the world in 2012 will in be true? I do not think is a prophecy. It is just that someone has foresee the future and he or she knows that we (human) will destroy the mankind with our own hands- by polluting the earth, wars against each other.

Above is my thought about the weather. What happened today was, someone had stolen my newsweekly. It really spoiled my mood when I was having my lunch. I big loss for me that I just read half way on that magazine. Meanwhile all the day, I was just slept because I really felt sleepy for the whole day.

After back to work, just bought 2 packs of snacks and finish it while watching the Bakuman. Then go for a hair cut before took my dinner. I had a late dinner today, because of the hair cut. New Year is coming so must cut my hair and shave. Traditional must be followed as it is the culture. I guess!!!

It is just a title from a song. I have forgotten the name of the band. I m really get older. Not good in memory. Easy to forget thing.Why? I don’t know.

365 days just past, now is 2011. Chinese New Year is just around the corner. And this is my first post in the new year. I just back to my old self. Lazy and last minute. Even I have felt a bit relief after quite the tutor job. Yet, I am still not good in time management. Still like to waste time in front of my computer. Watch animation and read comic. Promise myself to change in this year. But now already end of January. Still the same. Can anyone tell me when will I change?

Life

What is life? Some said life is a race. I agree with this. Everyone in this world is competing with each other. Even before the human is form. Millions of sperm compete to win the race. And only one winner out of the millions. When we are born, that mean we have started our engine. And the race begin. When we are still a baby, parents will take us compete with each other.( I mean some parents will do that, not everyone)

Who do I race with? I always like to race with the best of the best. I like to use my “talent” to beat them. But the result is- I lost everytime. I still stay on how I suppose to be. Never change. Never study hard and change myself to win the race.

Who is my biggest enemy? The answer is me, myself. I am the biggest enemy for myself. When I was in primary school, I always want to be number 1. I want to be attention in school. I want everyone to know me. Even now still the same. Haha.. Is really hard to change somebody who has the attitude for so many years.

But to frankly speaking, what is life really is? Still have no specific answer for this. It just like why you like hot and spicy and why do you like original flavour. Is all on your own perspective.
